The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises of two business lines, a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to apply for the position of:

Junior Specialist in Affirmation Confirmation Team

Your main responsibilities will be:

· Monitoring of the trade capture task stations to ensure accurate capture of all trades pertaining to the OTC derivatives scope
· Manual capture and validation of all trade falling out of the STP
· Manage exceptions on the affirmation/confirmation process on trade matching platforms
· Prioritize tasks based on trade sensitivity
· Ad-hoc derivatives tasks part of our global follow the sun coverage
· Ensure all trades are confirmed according to market regulation and client agreements
· Interface with global teams, brokers and clients on confirmation issues
· Master firms technology systems
· Complete daily operational reporting & controls; identify risk trends
· Respond to all queries within current business day
· Ensure middle office operations' effective achievement of best in class client service and top tier risk management

Desired profile

Qualifications :

We are looking for you, if you have:
·  University degree (preferred: Finance, Economics, etc.)
·  Very good command of English
·  Min. 1 year of relevant experience will be an asset
·  Derivatives (OTC and listed) knowledge
·  Attention to details and accuracy
·  Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
·  Ability to work effectively as a team player
·  Ability to work to tight deadlines
·  Good communication skills, ability to interact efficiently with clients and effectively manage expectations
·  Strong reactivity to meet short deadlines
·  Self-motivation and willingness to learn
