IT Private Equity & Real Estate Functional Analyst

Context:

To support its growth, the IT & Engineering Hub Private Equity & Real Estate team, based in Luxembourg, is looking for an IT PE&RE Functional Analyst.

The IT & Engineering Hub Private Equity & Real Estate is currently supporting multiple locations across the world. Its role is to:
· assist existing business enhancements by formalizing functional requirements
· develop or contribute to implement new functionalities on existing or new platforms
· contribute to the test campaign, by performing test scenario and test cases

Your Mission:

As a Functional Analyst you will have to:
· write functional requirements documents based on the business requirements documents written by the business analysts
· advise and assist developers (in Luxembourg and/or offshore)
· write System Integration Tests Plan and execute them
· contribute to deliver the expected results and to participate in researching and resolving issues.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Your profile:

Education: Bachelor or Master Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent

Professional experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in the field of Funds Services and ideally in Private Equity & Real Estate

Technical competencies: Skills and proven records in development on the following technologies
·  Oracle, Unix, PL/SQL, Javascript, Vb .Net
·  SAS base (advantage)
·  eFront FIA platforms (including customization, server scripting, FrontReport and FrontScript), would be considered as a strong asset

Functional/Business competencies:
·  knowledge & experience in Fund Accounting and/or Transfer agent are essential
·  knowledge in Private Equity and/or Real Estate Funds is an advantage
·  extensive experience in writing functional specifications and tests cases
·  perform analysis
·  produce Functional Requirements Document (FRD)
·  prepare and run test cases related to the documentation produced
·  assist users/operations during test phases
·  liaise with BNP Paribas IT teams and system providers when appropriate

Soft skills:
·  Analytical, organizational and communication skills
·  Result-driven, teamwork, and taking initiatives

Language skills: Excellent written and oral French and English skills are essential
