BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) in Switzerland provides to its clients financing, advisory and capital market services. Its global expertise is recognized in many areas including among others structured financing and derivatives across a variety of asset classes. CIB in Switzerland includes the following activities: Corporate Banking, Global Markets and Specialized Trade Solutions.

Corporate Coverage provides to large and mid-cap Swiss Corporates and Swiss subsidiaries of international Corporates an integrated and homogeneous corporate banking offering comprising financing products and services, ranging from classic lending products to specialized financing to transaction banking (cash management, international trade finance and liquidity management products).

To reinforce our Corporate Coverage in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a University graduate to join:

Graduate Program (18months) in Corporate Coverage

During the program we offer you

· Interesting tasks and the possibility to take on responsibility in our Corporate Coverage Teams (Relationship Management and/or Credit Analysis)

· The opportunity to improve your technical knowledge as well as your soft skills and to work with a wide community of international professionals

The key duties and responsibilities include:

Relationship Management (2 x 6 months in two different Coverage teams)

· Assist Relationship Managers in the day-to-day management of a client portfolio

o Onboarding of new clients and maintenance of KYC etc. for existing clients

o Handling the international network relationships

o Coordination of Business Lines / Products globally

· Prepare client action plans with Relationship Managers and Business Lines

· Collaborate with all business lines present in and outside of Switzerland (Cash Management, Trade Finance, Global Markets, Export Finance, Factoring, Arval, etc.

· Ensure prompt and accurate maintenance of BNP Paribas client monitoring tool (call reports, status of opportunities, pipeline management)

Credit Analysis (6 months)

· Support the Head of Credit Analysts in the portfolio and credit process management

· Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting

· Contribute to ad-hoc data reliability checks

· Contribute to the implementation of new guidelines and processes

· Assist credit analysts with credit proposals and credit committee preparation and follow-up

· Contribute to projects to improve organization and process efficiency

Required skills and experience:

· University Degree in Banking/Economics/Finance or equivalent

· A strong interest in the area of Corporate Banking

· Preferably with a first banking experience

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluency in German and English (our primary working language), French is an advantage

· Self-motivation combined with a strong team spirit

· Ability to set priorities, be flexible, well organized and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment

· Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint programs, tech savvy profile is a plus
