This position reports to the Head of Product Control and Head of North America Global Markets & ALMT Documentations teams
MISSION AND OBJECTIVES
The GFX Documentation Team is a transversal team that covers GFX and Loans&Deposits confirmations in both electronic matching platforms and long form confirmations. The team supports the FX Sales and Trading Desks globally. The main focus of the work revolves around Corporate, Hedge Fund and Inter-bank clients trading globally as well as in Americas.
Handle confirmation and chasing process via verbal, written, or electronic confirmation of the FX trades, in respect of the Dodd Franck and CFTC/EMIR regulatory requirements
Work in coordination with the Front, TSA and Documentation and Settlements teams to find out and rectify potential trade discrepancies
Handle various confirmation setups for new and existing clients. Communicate directly with clients, Client Integration, and Operations Client Relationship Managers teams in order to obtain necessary information to perform these setups
Participate in the preparation of the various periodic (daily/weekly/monthly) reports, High Risk Committee meeting documentation and ad-hoc reporting requests
Work in close cooperation with overseas colleagues to complete global initiatives in processing of FX trades
Ideal candidate profile
TRAINING AND OCCUPATIONAL EXPERIENCE
1 to 2 years' experience in FX industry
SWIFT and CLS knowledge is an advantage
Basic understanding of FX risk management and derivative contracts including non-deliverable trades and FX Options
Undergraduate degree required – preferably in Economics or Finance
ESSENTIAL SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in English and French

Strong organization and prioritization skills
Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
Resolve all issues / conflicts in a timely and professional fashion
Strong EXCEL skills
Basic understanding of other derivative products (CDS/IRD/Equity) is an advantage
Paid overtime may be required
Coverage of international activities may result in working on Canadian Statutory Holidays
