Data Governance Manager - H/F

What we offer you…

Your position / your team
You will report directly to the Chief Data Officer of the Bank and contribute to create a new team of 7 persons, the CDO Office. The CDO Office is in charge of arbitrating the data governance, defining the operational norms and regulating data quality across the organization. It helps to define the data strategy of the Bank, in line with strategic business needs.

Your mission
As Data Governance Manager, you will conduct the design and implementation of data governance strategy and vision to ensure the high quality of data required.

Your key responsibilities
· Define and validate data Governance Framework incl. continuous review and optimization
· Align the regulatory and business initiatives regarding data needs and define a holistic strategy approach for the bank
· Ensure a proper and adequate implementation in line with regulatory and business needs
· Ensure the alignment of the CDO office's projects with the overall strategy and projects initiatives across the Bank.
· Support the business in the definition of use cases for analytical purposes

Desired profile

What we expect from you…

Your experience

·  Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, IT, Engineering, or any other related domain
·  2-5 years' experience within the Banking Industry with a good knowledge of major banking activities and processes
·  Already has been involved in Business and IT transformation projects
·  Solid knowledge of Data Management and or governance concepts
·  Previous experience with BCBS 239 is a plus

Technical skills

·  Understanding of data and their transversal impact on different departments
·  Knowledge of data management tools is an advantage
·  Advanced user of MS Office suite (Excel, VBA, Power Point etc …)
·  Technical orientation - Understanding of IT-Infrastructure and applications especially big data and analytical technologies
·  Fluent in English and French
