Data Business Analyst & Manager - H/F

What we offer you…

Your position / your team
You will report directly to the Chief Data Officer of the Bank and contribute to create a new team of 6 persons, the CDO Office. The CDO Office is in charge of arbitrating the data governance, defining the operational norms and regulating data quality across the organization. It helps to define the data strategy of the Bank, in line with strategic business needs.

Your mission
As Data Business Analyst & Manager, you will be responsible for Business Glossary and Dictionary, definition and implementation of data quality rules, data norms & standards as well as support of the collection, analysis and remediation of metadata into the Banks Business Glossary & Dictionary.

Your key responsibilities
· Review and maintain the Business Glossary and Data Dictionary
· Define Norm and Standards including semantic & normalization
· Document and keep rules and standards for business glossary and dictionary up to date
· Perform and document the lineage of data elements and performs impact analysis in case of changes
· Support the development of business quality rules
· Establish best practices for metadata remediation processes
· Report and escalate metadata issues
· Collaborate with project managers to ensure that the users' needs are addressed.
· Train the different stakeholders when metadata is created locally.

Desired profile

What we expect from you…

Your experience

·  Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Management, IT, Engineering, or any other related domain
·  2-5 years' experience within the Banking Industry with a good knowledge of major banking activities and processes
·  Already has been involved in Business and IT transformation projects
·  Solid knowledge of Data Management and or governance concepts
·  Previous experience with BCBS 239 is a plus

Your technical skills

·  Demonstrated ability to get a transversal view of the impact of data on the organization and different departments
·  Sound database language skills (e .g. SQL …)
·  Knowledge of data management tools (e. g. Abinitio, SAS et.)
·  Technical orientation - Understanding of IT-Infrastructure and applications especially big data and analytical technologies
·  Advanced user of MS Office suite (Excel, VBA, …)
·  Languages : the position requires fluent english (spoken and written) and french
