MARKETING & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT H/F - Biocodex - Nairobi

Job description

BIOCODEX is a French international pharmaceutical company, organized around 4 French sites and 9 overseas subsidiaries, with over 1000 employees. Relying on a global network of scientists and business partners BIOCODEX acquired over the years, expertise in specific therapeutic areas and now exports its products to more than 100 countries.
Missions :
Marketing & Sales / Kenya
- Managing the country’s marketing and communications growth strategy in collaboration with the local partner
- Product Management: Support the local team with product expertise
- Assess market competition and assess product positioning in Kenya and articulate the positioning of the products vs competition.
- Collaboration with local promotional and sales team on promotional activities
- Implement and manage secondary sales data collection and analysis
- Analyze sales vs market share at territory level
- Ensure constant reporting and KPI implementation
Business Development / Eastern Africa
- Explore market potential and opportunities in all the Eastern African countries (Ouganda, Ethiopie, Tanzanie, Djibouti ) where Biocodex does not operate
o Assess market potential and potential sales for Biocodex portfolio
o Assess regulatory policies for registration of Biocodex portfolio
o Identify key partners for registration, importation, distribution and promotion
o Set up adequate business model for each country
- Brings Biocodex products to market:
oDetermine product pricing
oReviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders
Profile:
- Business school with previous Pharmaceutical marketing experience + scientific background/pharmacist
- Previous experience in marketing, sales or business development in a pharmaceutical company
- Previous experience in Africa or foreign country would be an added value
- Fluent in English, French would be a plus
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, project management.
- Autonomous and ability to work alone in a challenging environment.
