Job Description

ORGANIZATIONAL PLACEMENT

After a 12 months training period in the Biesse Service Academy in our HO in Pesaro, the successful candidate will be relocate in our Subsidiary in USA (Charlotte) and within the Service department will work as a Junior Field Service Engineer – Software Specialist . The person’s main duties will be to give technical support, provide training on software and sale new software services and packages to our customers.

ACTIVITIES

· Answer to calls from Field Engineers and Customers on issues based on software;
· Executing on site interventions to solve software issues at customer premises: installation, analyze and diagnose machinery malfunctioning cases;
· Tracking and analyzing customers’ requests to secure best resolution time and good communication;
· Responsible for customers training when new software or additional training packages are sold;
· Demonstrating software and services at events, in showroom and by visiting customers together with sales team;
· Promoting software and services and creating new opportunities;
· Developing and implementing tools and procedures to improve the functions of the department;
· Provide Service reports;

REQUIREMENTS

· Technical diploma or degree in electronic, automation or software engineer;
· 1 yrs of experience in software of manufacturing equipment;
· Experience in troubleshooting and in managing issues with customer would be an advantage;
· Proficient verbal & written communication in English (or Italian), to communicate with Italian software team;
· High level of self motivation and strong team building attitude;
· Good problem solving and decision making ability;
· Good skill in writing documentation with the right level of details;
· Availale and able to travel at worldwide level (an average of 200 business trips per year)
