Internship Bioinformatics analysis for SNP discovery in Transcriptomics data (m/w)Internship Bioinformatics analysis for SNP discovery in Transcriptomics data (m/w) YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe Master 2 internship will be in the department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of Bayer Crop Science in Lyon. Studies will have to be conducted in collaboration with the local Bioinformatics team, the Bioinformatics located in Germany and the researcher of the several teams involved in the project.
You internship subject will be Bioinformatics analysis of Single Nucleotide Mutations (SNP) in fungal species of agronomical interest. You will have to manage the analysis using several approaches (mapping tool comparison, SNP callers…) and bioanalysis of generated data.
WHO YOU AREYou are in Master 2 in Bioinformatics. You show good relational sense and communication skills. You are organized and rigorous in data management.
Bioinformatics skills needed for this internship are:
- Use of analysis software for Next-Generation Sequencing data (NGS). - Knowledge in scripting languages (R / Python / Perl). - Knowledge in relational database would be a plus. - Knowledge in genome annotation software. - Knowledge of Unix Operating system.
