Working student in Procurement with Spanish and Italian (m/f/d)

Job description

The Global Procurement division is responsible for all BASF's purchasing activities worldwide. We negotiate contracts that provide BASF with tangible added value. Our focus is on the procurement of raw materials, technical goods and services as well as logistics solutions. Our comprehensive market know-how and deep understanding of value-adding chains make us a valuable partner for the operating divisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

For our team we are looking for a motivated and involved employee. Our Team is responsible for all operational indirect & direct purchasing activities for North & South Europe.

·  You play an active role in ensuring the purchase of equipment for our BASF Group companies in Europe.
·  In this context, you will support us in monitoring, order processing and handling of incoming orders and e-mails.
·  Furthermore, you will maintain and update our data and process various master data requests.
·  On top of that, you will gain insights into the projects right from the start and you can actively participate in them.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  Bachelor's or Master's study in economics or a comparable field
·  secure handling of MS Office applications, ideally macros experience or high interest for digitalized solutions
·  fluent communication skills in Spanish and English, Italian or German is a plus
·  careful working methods and enjoyment of working in a team
