Where the Chemistry Happens…
  Pack / Ship Operator (2002098) – Vidalia, LA

  This position is responsible for material handling for the Vidalia warehouse.

Responsibilities Include:

Movement of material in the warehouse
Loading and unloading trucks
Weighing material Packaging material in various packaging types, ensuring that product is appropriately labeled.

Able to successfully complete all required EHS and quality training, to include forklift driving test

Ability to safely lift 50 pounds
  This position interacts daily with the control system manager and engineers.  They will also interact with operations personnel, such as operators, production leaders, operations engineers, and technology team members.  Provides periodic reports to management and will interact with peers.  This position will maintain contacts with counterparts in other companies within the BASF Group as well as those in other companies via industry organizations.

Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You…

Basic qualifications:
 
High school diploma or GED required.
1 year of experience within a warehouse required
 
Preferred Qualifications:
 
Any forklift experience is preferred.
2-5 years related work experience is preferred. Experience working with machinery including valves, conveyers, pumps and blowers preferred.
