Description

BASF has been operating in Malaysia for more than 25 years and currently has more than 1,600 employees in the country. BASF (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1989, and operates manufacturing plants in Bukit Raja in Selangor and Pasir Gudang in Johor, as well as an operational site in Kulim, Kedah.

Objective

·  Act as the key interface between Regional FFP & AI Planner, Supply Chain Operations, third party manufacturers (tollers) and supplier (formulants and packaging). Job Description

·  Liaise with tollers to agree on daily production plan based on rough cut plan and schedule deliveries of locally sourced materials (formulants and/or packaging) for the next 6 months
·  Liaise with tollers and supplies of locally sourced materials (formulants and/or packaging) on daily basis to ensure production execution and delivery of locally sourced materials are in line with daily production plan
·  Liaise with tollers and GS teams to schedule and execute deliveries and dispatch of products (produced at tollers to customers
·  Raise Purchase Requisition (PR) and/or Purchase Order (PO) in line with 4-eye principles
·  Generate daily toller and supplier reports to track progress against plan (actual production vs plan, tolling KPIs and material reconciliation etc.) and communicate to relevant stakeholders and follow up actions
·  Support stock taking process at toller warehouse.
·  Ensure Bill of Material (BOM), planning parameters, procurement type, costing information are up to date and reflected in the system Requirements

·  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
·  1-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, material or production planning within a manufacturing environment
·  Familiar with SAP Cobalt, R3 and APO
·  Communicates effectively and highly detail oriented
·  Flexible to travel to toller's site once a month
·  Role is based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
