Job description



The Process Research and Chemical Engineering Division brings together a variety of competencies, including inorganic chemistry, organic synthesis, battery research, catalysis, process development and technology, as well as technical services for laboratories/technical centers. In interdisciplinary global teams, we develop innovative products, processes and technologies for a sustainable future and work with internal partners and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Join our Catalyst Research Team in BASF. For a time period of 3-6 months, you will participate to a project of heterogeneous catalyst development.

·  You will participate various tasks of heterogeneous catalyst development carried out in the laboratory.
·  The various tasks include mixing, shaping (e.g. extruding, tableting), and calcination.
·  In addition, you will get experience in several material characterization methods.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  enrollment in a degree program of chemistry, material science, or chemical engineering
·  practical experience in chemistry/material science laboratory
·  responsible and cooperative personality
