Responsible for all back office processes for export and local orders for business unit EVH. Support to local and global EVH team with regards to BASF processes and procedures to facilitate growth for this complex environment. Core responsibilities will include the following:

 

·      Customer registration and material extension on MDG

·      Customer Order Management and handling client enquiries including processing orders on SAP and getting them released on Non Trade Portal where blocked as well Create delivery notes and invoices post every sale

·      Order block management in SAP: Business rule issue resolution / exception handling

·      Export processes that will include preparation of shipping documents; engaging the customer to get the correct import documents like release order and entry, booking for transport

·      Samples management: From order to receipt by customer

·      Manage medium term projects relating to Logistics and Supply Chain within Southern Africa

·      Checking stock availability within supplying plants as well as balancing with SOH in the Zambia Warehouse to meet supply requirements

·      POD Management post every delivery with the Service Provider

·      Non Conformance Management (Global & Southern Africa)

·      Compiling quotes for Account Managers while in the process of business development in other markets through our Imports & Exports Team, and according to our approved Service Provider Rates

·      Coordinate transport tracking & compiling of required transportation documentation ex Zambia

·      Facilitation of border customs clearing process

·      Proactive Credit Management (including working in SAP, monitoring overdue accounts, resolving account queries and payment allocations)

·      Participating in reporting & planning as well as completing of export registers as per applicable Customs Regulations

·      Preparing of reporting to the BU ( weekly and monthly status reports and updates)

·      Participate & contribute to APO Supply & Inventory Planning (demand and supply balance & aging stock monitoring)

·      Zambia Bonded Warehouse Operational Participation

·      Zambia Sub-Contractor Monitoring & Management

·      Monthly coordinating product forecast with Account Managers

 

What we expect

 

·      University degree in Business, Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent tertiary education

·      Minimum of 3 years work experience in the Supply Chain Industry / Customs related areas as well as Customer Services within the Southern Africa Market

·      Minimum of 2 years working experience in SAP
