RESPONSIBILITIES

Within our Team HR Services Europe - Switzerland & Poland, we perform the monthly payroll accounting for our BASF companies in Poland. We are currently looking for a candidate for the position of Officer for payroll and personnel administration in Poland.

·  You will provide support in preparing the monthly payroll and additional reports.
·  You will prepare contracts as well as work and payment certificates and will maintain personnel, time and payroll master data in the SAP HR system.
·  In the process, you will observe the BASF guidelines, the collective agreements and the applicable laws and regulations.
·  You are familiar with our standard BASF processes and are able to bring innovative ideas.
·  You will advise and inform the employees in your area of responsibility regarding HR topics, both by phone and via e-mail, in close coordination with our HR Business Partners.
·  You will keep our documentation up-to-date and further develop the HR knowledge database by actively contributing to the exchange of information and experiences within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

·  You have completed an apprenticeship or have a degree in HR or a comparable study program and are looking to gain initial professional experience in operational HR.
·  You also speak Polish and English fluently. German language skills are a plus.
·  You are a proficient user of the MS Office applications, especially Excel and Word. SAP skills are a plus.
·  You keep a level head, even under pressure to meet deadlines, and are able to think analytically and work in a well-organized manner.
·  You can adjust quickly to changing requirements.
·  In addition, customer focus is important to you, as is good work organization within the team.
