Job Title: Test Lead
Location: Radbroke, Knutsford

Our Barclays UK Digital team has a Channels Engineering department, which is where this position sits. This team supports and enhances the core engineering pipelines that deliver our applications to production. The Digital business is an exciting division as its quickly evolving, and looks after all our software based products.
As the Test Lead, you will plan and execute test projects, its risks and dependencies. You will also mitigate risks of business through precise automated execution and validation of test plans.

What will you be doing?

• Define test approach and estimate to ensure its optimum, meets project goals without compromising on quality
• Implement innovative and creative methods for testing
• Test Program RAIDS are identified, maintained regularly and mitigated
• Accountable for ensuring complete test overage across the programme during SIT phase
• Create test estimates as per our Standard Model
• Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure
• Constantly review the test progress and reports to the Lead Test Manager

What we're looking for:

• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools used
• Exposure with testing customer facing internet web sites and mobile devices
• ISTQB testing exposure

Skills that will help you in the role:

• End-to-end banking processes exposure, ideally testing large scale banking infrastructure
• Exposure working within a cross cultural team and multi locations
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our technology hub in the North West, located at Radbroke Hall in Knutsford. It's convenient for most individuals who live within a 35-mile radius, spanning from Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and Stoke. It's a lively atmosphere with large open plan offices, with everything you need on site including various catering options, Starbucks, Gym, onsite parking etc.
