Job Title IOS Developer
Location Knutsford

The area is responsible for developing Colleague based applications that allow our users to service Customers via Branch, Telephony and Operational Channels. The front end applications are used by multiple business segments including Retail, Wealth, Corporate, Business Banking and BarclayCard. The team consists of over 300 employees across the UK, India and Lithuania working on both desktop and tablet solutions. The area continues to evolve and grow as we look to build applications once and re-use our code and services across multiple Channels.

What will you be doing?

• To use system-specific knowledge and technical expertise to define technical strategies that provides business solutions.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a solution team to define, design, and ship new features
• Help maintain code quality, standard and design principles for application development

What we're looking for:

• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift and Cocoa Touch
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
• Knowledge of HTML5, Angular, Ionic.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
