Creative Designer

Have you got creative flare? Are you looking for a new opportunity that gives you the flexibility to come up with innovative solutions? If you can answer yes to both of these questions then BAE Systems, Maritime Services division are recruiting for a Creative Designer to be responsible for leading creative media initiatives and projects supporting our business winning activities.

In particular the development of winning proposals, creating marketing material and drafting customer presentations. The successful candidate will also provide support to the Communications and Exhibitions teams.

As Creative Designer your main responsibilities will involve:

Identifying, developing and producing innovative creative solutions in support of winning business and internal & external communications.

Seeking out opportunities and captures photos and videos of BAE Systems products and capabilities and produces high quality visual content for use in marketing material

Working with internal customers to define requirements and to develop graphic directions, concepts, and specifications for a wide variety of tasks.

Managing small to medium sized creative projects from initial concept through to delivery of the final production

As Creative Designer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

Preferably Degree educated in a creative discipline.

Software:

Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator

Photographic and Video experience, including editing and motion graphics

Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint

Skills

Experience in the management of complex creative projects across a wide range of mediums.

Significant experience in the development of creative ideas in support of business winning.

Proven ability to work collaboratively across internal boundaries and within brand limitations

Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Vast experience and high level of competency in, using Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects and other supporting applications.

Able to draw up storyboards with the customer and produce the finished project using whatever medium is agreed suitable for the audience.

Capable of filming High Definition video and photography to a professional standard

Use visual effects and treatments on both videos and photography to enhance and improve the experience.

Experience in creating or using 3D elements within creative projects
