Job Purpose:

The Internal Wholesaler will be responsible for promoting AXA IM offshore funds and increasing sales with offshore focussed financial institutions in the US and LATAM.

Key Accountabilities:

• Once trained and licensed, to be proactive to generate new business activity in the offshore market space to help the US Client Group reach its goals in terms of Net New Money and Net New Revenue sales targets
• Once trained and licensed, to maximise the distribution opportunities with a pre-defined list of Financial Intermediary prospects and clients
• To seek out and develop new opportunities and prospects
• To identify and report on business opportunities in target markets to the Wholesale/Offshore team
• To work effectively with Compliance department to ensure that activities are compliant to local regulation and AXA IM standards
• To attend and contribute to weekly/quarterly sales meetings and present on recent business development activity
• Maintain full client records utilizing SalesForce CRM tool
• Work effectively with internal investment and support teams

Qualifications :

Role Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree or similar
• Series 7, 63 (to be obtained within 4 months of joining)
• Spanish proficiency required


• 3 years’ experience in a relevant role

Knowledge and Skills

• A working knowledge of the existing client base a significant plus
• Willingness to gain an understanding of offshore product structures including SICAVs, OEICs etc
• Willing and able to proactively engage with target market by phone and in person
• An understanding of the investment management industry and key players within it
• Be able to develop, in a short time, a good understanding of AXA IMs focus products for this market
• A strong commitment to governance and ensuring that all internal risk protocols are strictly adhered to
• Commitment to treating customers fairly and upholding the best interests of the clients of AXA IM at all times


• A high level of motivation to broaden knowledge to better service AXA IM clients
• A strong desire to achieve as demonstrated through high activity levels
• Self-driven, motivated, goal oriented
• A strong sense of ambition and a desire to ultimately follow a career in sales
• Ability to show initiative and work without supervision as well as within a close team
• Proactive, flexible and collegiate attitude
• The role will require some travel commitment to offshore hubs in the US and LATAM to support internal and external client events
