Monitor and control the usage of Investment Research and ensure compliance with MifidII
Investment Research budget definition
Support Expertise COOs & Finance department in the budget definition process by providing:
· Analysis for pre-budgetting process
· Detailed reports on past consumption of investment research
Commercial negociation & contract management
· Ensure compliance to (i) Procurement policies & standards and (ii) MiFID II regulation (inducements) during the broker negotiation phase
· Coordinate and support Commercial & Contract negociations with brokers
· Monitor the contract lifecycle (end date)
Monitoring of research usage / Governance
· Manage entitlement process (who can use which research)
· Analyse and monitor research consumption according to contractual term
· Quality Assessment of Investment Research – coordinate broker vote process across Expertises
· Track and manage unsolicited research (inducement risk management)
· Prepare & support the Investment Research Committee
· Follow Up on Mifid II regulation evolution and best practices
Accrual, Invoicing & Payments
Coordinate invoicing management (control, validation, allocation) by
· Matching invoices against contract terms and research consumption
· Managing validation of invoices by budget holders
· Providing allocation keys to ensure a fair cost allocation per cost center
· Provide accrual/reversal instruction to Finance
Profil recherché
Qualifications :
Education/Qualifications
· Master 2 level
Experience
· Finance or Compliance experience
· Experience in Capital Markets / Asset Management industry
Knowledge and Skills
· Budget & Finance skills required
· Advanced negotiation skills
· Analytical skills (market analysis, business case, reporting)
· Presentation skills (impacting presentations, C-level presentations)
· Fluent in both French and English. A third language a plus (German, Italian, Spanish )
