Job description
PURPOSE
The Web Production Analyst role will support the web and digital teams in growing Aviva Canada’s online capabilities. This is an outstanding opportunity to focus on crafting best in class digital experiences through the implementation and management of the enterprise Content Management System. The Web Production role will combine web development, content management and SEO to support the growth and improvement of Aviva Canada’s online properties.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage the organization’s CMS (web page template management, page editor, metadata editor, SEO management, page versioning, site search, page access, rule-based publishing and workflow, , etc.).
Building / editing HTML based assets for multiple channels (web, email, display, etc.)
Webpage creation and optimization
Build JavaScript solutions for marketing technology to be deployed via the organization’s tag manager
Assist business partners with marketing technology execution (personalization, testing, experience automation, email)
Support the maintenance, execution and improvement of web properties
Work with developers on building out webpage functionality
Work with UX team on attractive, easy to use, high performing UI
Manage search engine optimization workflows and execution
BAU website maintenance and support
Content updates and webpage development
website capability growth
Growth in web traffic, business and revenue via SEO execution
Best practice adoption for online technologies
Business partner technical support
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from a University or College
EXPERIENCE
2+ years of web development, CSS or similar experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Experience using Adobe Experience Manager or similar enterprise CMS
HTML5, CSS, and Javascript/jQuery
Content governance/management experience
Understanding of A/B testing and multi-variant testing
Strong understanding of website and landing page concepts for digital marketing purposes
Understanding of marketing technologies and their implementation
