Our Commercial Insurance Pricing Team are currently seeking a Pricing Analyst. The role is a 6 months fixed term contract and can be based in London or Perth. However, given the multisite nature of work and that everyone is working remotely at present, this role could be home based in any UK location.

 

Working within a team of pricing experts, you will be responsible for delivering accurate technical and street pricing on commercial lines of business. This role will also involve assisting the development and implementation of technical and street pricing strategies for regional SME Commercial products.

 

The position is ideal for a part qualified Actuary, or a Pricing Analyst (ideally with commercial lines experience) or a graduate with some experience in an analytical role within the insurance industry.

 

Responsibilities in the role:

· 
Responsible for the day to day analysis of live pricing, ensuring that it is accurate and robust

· 
Ensure that pricing recommendations are based on commercial/market feedback and support the delivery of the financial plans

· 
Contribute to constructive intra-team working and personal development agendas

 

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

· 
Highly numerate with strong analytical capability

· 
Strong PC skills including expertise in Microsoft Office

· 
Experience with building dashboards and working with SAS

· 
Experience of mathematical modelling

· 
Works in a collaborative manner with peers

· 
High levels of enthusiasm with excellent interpersonal skills

· 
Strong verbal and written communication skills

· 
Graduate – Mathematics/Statistical OR Science degree
