PMO Analyst – Transformation – Flexible on Location

The Role

The PMO Analyst will be accountable for producing fact-based management information to drive informed programme decisions. They will provide the project teams and business customers active guidance and support to ensure adherence to the Transformation governance & controls framework. To actively support the project teams, through consultation and facilitation, in clearly defining quality business cases and providing value add challenge where initiatives do not align to the strategic design principles and to continuously seek process efficiencies and improvements to support successful delivery within the project teams.

Responsibilities

·       Delivery of the monthly Programme Review packs, and other ad hoc MI requirements

·       Delivery of the Programme dependency, resource and financial (cost & benefit) trackers

·       Actively manage the Programme risk, issues, actions, decisions and change request log

·       Collate and publish the Steering Committee and Working group packs, agenda, minutes and actions

·       Manage the requisition and oversight of external suppliers including purchase orders, invoices and queries or issues

·       Delivery of small change projects as required

·       Champion and oversee adherence to the Transformation governance framework and controls, across all Transformation activity; through periodic attestations

·       Responsible for communication of the status of deliverables, key issues, risks & dependencies

·       Responsible for escalation to the Project/Programme Manager/Design Authority Lead manager any issues that are causing significant risk to a successful project delivery

·       Provide active value add support to the project managers and portfolio heads, through guidance of the governance framework & controls, consultation, facilitation and risk / issue resolution

Requirements

·       Outstanding organization skills and ability to multi-task numerous initiatives at once

·       Good financial services experience ideally including Asset management organisations

·       Good understanding of the asset management business, fund structures and processes

·       Good understanding of the regulatory environment the asset management business operates within.

·       Proven experience of working within a Programme Office and/or as a Business Analyst and/or a related role

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Effective stakeholder management including senior managers, and ability to work well with others at all levels

·       Fully competent in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies
