DevOps Administrator
Your future tasks:
- To develop high quality technical solutions for the Risk & Legal IT systems (IBM OpenPages & Oracle Watchlist Screening)
- Taking into account business, application and infrastructure requirements including platform integration / optimisation
- Providing IT knowledge and expertise to develop, deliver, and maintain the system and associated applications according to industry best practice standards
- Contribute to the formulation, recommendation, design, planning and delivery of strategically aligned initiatives, in support of the business
- Ensures alignment to relevant coding and design patterns
- Mentors and coaches other staff, providing guidance and support
- Be the focal point of technical excellence for the subject area of the team
- Be a bridge between the development and Cloud / Infrastructure / Service Provider teams
Check what is important for us:
- Experience in following technology: Puppet, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Powershell, Bash, SQL, SQL Server, IIS, Python, Ruby, Javascript, Java, Oracle database, JSP, DOJO, VBA
- Visio skillset
- Experience in Windows Server technologies - e.g. Active Directory, DNS, File services
- Basic knowledge of computer networking
- Strong communication (oral and written) and facilitation skills (e.g. workshop and training)
- Knowledge and application of the full project lifecycle
- Knowledge and application of Waterfall & Agile development and delivery methodologies
- Ideally good process improvement skills
- Desire to learn new technologies, automate and continuously improve existing standards and frameworks
- Fluent knowledge of English
