Responsibilities

Your core role will be dealing with inbound calls from customers for new insurance quotes and servicing their existing home insurance policies. By using listening and communication skills to understand our customers' requirements and meet their expectations. Our training is built around our customers and the Aviva core values (Care More, Never Rest, Kill Complexity, Create Legacy) by taking ownership of each call and investing time in our customers to give them the correct information and outcome.

Earning Potential


Typically, our full time Customer Service Experts will progress from the starting salary of £17,000 to £18,500 on achieving the initial standard required following training. Your development will continue in the role over time. If you continue to excel in your role you have the potential for your salary to rise up to £22,000. Beyond this, there are numerous opportunities within our business for people with the right skills, behaviours and attitude to be able to continue progression of their career aspirations. Part time Customer Service Expert salary's will be based on a pro-rata basis.

Working Pattern

Full time positions are averaged at 35 hours per week with shift patterns covering Monday to Friday 0800-2200 and some weekends Saturday 0800-1800 and Sunday 0900-1700, we are also open bank holidays 1000-1600. You will be required to be flexible within these opening hours. Rotas provided 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Part time roles will be within the business hours.

Training will be provided, and you are required to commit to 3/4 weeks training 0900-1700.
