We are recruiting for a Business Analyst to join the General insurance Team within Aviva.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· 
Engage with teams across a range of areas such as Business Product, Compliance, Legal, Pricing, to fully understand and scope out the business requirements.

· 
Work with business & technical teams both on site & offshore to create business deliverables such as process maps, business requirements and user stories.

· 
Liaise with Developers, business & testers to ensure valid requirements, test and acceptance criteria and work closely with IT to spec out technically requirements.

· 
Work closely with business, development, lead BA & quality assurance teams in overall delivery of solutions.

· 
Take ownership of assign changes from first touch to completion of change, managing outcomes, escalation points, blockages etc to ensure efficient delivery of change.

· 
Ensure all compliance & risk requirements are considered and incorporated into the requirements.

· 
Provide input to in project team meetings, assist in the preparation of plans and estimates.

· 
Provide support to other business analysts, business process owners and project managers to help driver business initiatives.

· 
Provide support to the various teams involved in the project (development, QA, UAT etc.)

Skills & Experience required :

· 
Previous experienced in the General Insurance industry.

· 
Insurance product knowledge either in Personal or Commercial Lines.

· 
Knowledge & experience of Project methodologies.

· 
Experience in facilitating workshops & co-ordinating output.

· 
Experience using JIRA & MS Visio.

· 
Ability to clearly & concisely gather, interpret, analyse and document business process, user stories & requirements in a structured way.

· 
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, business resources & external stakeholders.
