Role Description and responsibilities:
· You’ll be responsible for development of BMC TSSA automation platform and tools connected to it
· You will have opportunity to implement your own ideas, create new solutions and customize existing scripts using PowerShell, bash and/or sql scripting knowledge
· Assignment will cover also creating BL Depot objects: BL Package, MSI Packages, Scripts and Custom software
· As the tool is used also for the reporting, you may be in charge for creation of the SQL queries and API calls, setting up the whole chain of dataflow between our tool and other ones
Job Requirements:
· Fundamental knowledge of Linux administration (mostly RedHat and Oracle)
· MSSQL DataBase administration and management
· Ability of scripting (PowerShell/Bash/SQL)
· Administration & troubleshooting of operating systems (including desktop ones), custom applications and tools
· Team work attitude – for cooperation with other support groups (i.e. network, server, AD)
· Analytical approach to analyze system logs, events and monitoring alerts
Nice to have:
· Strong knowledge of BladeLogic Administration (BBSA/TSSA)
· Windows server 2012/2016/2019 system administration
· Good knowledge of BL Reporting (BDSSA/TSSR) and experience of generating reports using Query studio/Report studio.
· ITIL framework knowledge
· Monitoring system administration and management: SCOM/ Nagios/Centreon/Icinga
