Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

 

You should have the technical solution design and implementation expertise to complete design and implementation activities across the full range of components and technologies within the SAP portfolio, deployed on premise, private and public cloud. This will include providing SAP Technical Consultancy into business as usual SAP Customer Support and SAP Project-based activity as required.

You will analyse customer business needs using SAP best practices to develop the most efficient solution for large clients and programmes. You will also lead development of architectures for complex SAP landscapes and take full responsibility for overall system design covering system, application, technology, security and business architectures.

This is a GCM/level 6 full-time position based in Runcorn. The role will require working from a mix of office and client locations and potential rare trips to client sites in Warrington and North West Cumbria. Some working from home may be possible dependent on the client. The role may include some out-of-hours activities and engagements on projects and bids. We do offer flexibility on working arrangements wherever possible.

 

Skills we can’t do without:

 

·  Recognized as a technical specialist in field of expertise and be a mentor to junior members of the team.
·  Experience of SAP technical design and sizing across various operating systems and databases to include Unix/Linux variants, Windows Server, Oracle, MS SQL Server and SAP HANA. This should include experience in the design of HA and DR solutions.
·  Experience of leading and mentoring SAP technical teams in complex SAP implementation and upgrade projects.
·  SAP technical configuration and system administration expertise across multiple SAP components including both AS-ABAP and AS-Java based systems.
·  Experience in SAP Database Administration including design across Oracle, MS SQL Server and SAP HANA.
·  Experience of SAP component implementation into at least one High Availability cluster solution including Windows Server Clustering, or RHEL Pacemaker Clustering.
·  Competent in SAP deployment methodologies and Solution Manager for core systems administration.
·  Eligible for SC Clearance

 

Skills we’d like:

 

·  Experience in the technical configuration of SAP Technical Monitoring in Solution Manager 7.2, including diagnostics.
·  Experience in the technical design, sizing and implementation of SAP Hybris solutions.
·  Experience in Sybase ASE database administration and design.
