Context of the job

Within the broader equensWorldline organization, a separate unit has been setup in April to fully focus on the exiting and fast evolving world of the “Identity, Trust & Authentication” as crucial element in the financial world and beyond. Today this includes following products and new ones are born each six months:

· Access Control solution to secure e-commerce transactions and also access to digital bank, wallets and newer PSD2 XS2A use case,
· Mobile Payments where the smartphone is used as a card,
· Wallet solution itself, including a payment component next to loyalty for example,
· Solutions in the context of Mobile Protection.

Key responsibilities

As an IT Developer you will be involved in the development of java-based solutions. You will contribute to complex solutions, taking care of the customizing of existing applications, implementation, documenting and testing.

You will work in a team, with the newest technologies in the field of Java.

Challenges on development and more generally technical are various, based upon modern technologies and platforms.

You have strong technical skill; you are able to communicate with Technical team in a comprehensive way? You have interest in innovation in mobile and server domain?

The job gives you a possibility to work in an international and technological context, with career opportunities in Belgium or abroad.

Profile and Education:

· Master or Bachelor in ICT (or equivalent by working experience);
· Minimal 1-3 years working experience with Java;
· 1-3 years’ experience developing Java using frameworks;
· 1-2 years’ experience interfacing relational databases;
· 1-2 years’ experience implementing Web Services;
· Experience with middleware;
· Working effectively as a team member

Required skills

· You are a team player and able to work in a dynamic environment;
· You are able to work and deliver results in an international context;
· You demonstrate excellent Java skills;
· Solid SQL ability;
· Proficiency in Web Service programming;
· Use of web container technologies;
· Experience with JPA framework;
· Experience with JMS;
· Experience in application migration;
· Proficiency with IDE-based development:
· Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum;
· You are stress-resistant and able to work under time pressure to meet deadlines;
· Work in an organized and structured way;
· Able to work in a large and complex organization;
· Result oriented and problem solving competencies;
· Very good command of English and very good in French or Dutch.

Place of employment: Located in Belgium (Brussels) and, depending on the assignment, occasional travels abroad towards eWL’s locations in Germany (Aachen & Frankfurt) or France (Lille, Paris, Blois, Lyon).
