Core Responsibilities:

· Protect our customer’s data and preserve the security and integrity of their operations.
· Responsible for defining strategies to deliver value-driven technologies, Hybrid Cloud based business solutions, and driving revenue growth.
· Position entailed evaluating, recommending, defining and advocating enterprise business architecture models, standards and platforms to enable end-to-end business and IT transformations across complex environments.
· Provide leadership and framework to align technology investments with business and client goals.
· Create and present business cases on investments, lead the development of standards, framework and product sets, IT transformation and modernization.
· Lead team of Solution Architects in RFS and consolidation activities.
· Lead Innovation program to modernize Enterprise hybrid cloud solutions and assisted in marketing DCS services to Texas cities, school districts, and municipalities throughout the state.
· Lead DCS automation project based on VMWare vRealize automation suite interfacing with an internal Enterprise Service Bus (Mulesoft) to streamline provisioning of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
· Keep abreast of evolving cyber threats and identifying new and sophisticated methods of detecting them across our customer's IT estates.
· Participate in server builds and documentation (operating system drops), software deployments, lab exercises and projects, training and handover exercises and break/fix exercises where possible.

Skills & Knowledge

· Demonstrate a strong interest in this area with an understanding of its challenges and some of the tools and techniques used; as well as a logical approach to problem identification and resolution.
· A controlled approach to delivery to project timescales is vital, due to the nature of the work, need the ability to work independently using your own initiative, to think creatively and develop innovative ideas that will enhance or improve delivery quality.
· Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, coupled with a methodical approach to your work are a requirement, as well as the ability to develop good relationships with customers.
· A strong interest in technology is a must, along with an aptitude to learn quickly and a passion to deliver solutions that ensure operational excellence for our clients.

Job Requirements

· Bachelors degree
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client facing role
· Experience with AWS, Azure and VMWare with preference to Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
· Infrastructure design (Hybrid, Private, Public)
· Application & database design
· Data center migration
· Project management
· Hyper converged, SDDS, DevOps
· Staff & vendor management
· Executive level organization & management
· Streamlining technical operations
· Automating IT service management, infrastructure and application lifecycle SDLC
· ITIL v3 certification – preferred
· TOGAF certification – preferred
