Job description

Atos SE (Societas Europaea) is a leader in digital services with pro forma annual revenue of circa € 12 billion and circa 100,000 employees in 72 countries. Serving a global client base, the Group provides Consulting & Systems Integration services, Managed Services & BPO, Cloud operations, Big Data & Cyber-security solutions, as well as transactional services through Worldline, the European leader in the payments and transactional services industry. With its deep technology expertise and industry knowledge, the Group works with clients across different business sectors: Defense, Financial Services, Health, Manufacturing, Media, Utilities, Public sector, Retail, Telecommunications, and Transportation.

Atos is focused on business technology that powers progress and helps organizations to create their firm of the future. The Group is the Worldwide Information Technology Partner for the Olympic & Paralympic Games and is listed on the Euronext Paris market. Atos operates under the brands Atos, Atos Consulting, Atos Worldgrid, Bull, Canopy, Unify and Worldline.

Within the Digital Technology Unit (DTU), we are looking for experienced Technology Consultants to join our Digital Workplace team. This team is responsible for working with clients to define, design and implement the next generation of workplace solutions which drive the efficiency within our clients.

This role is targeted for Consultant and Senior Consultant level candidates who have helped to shape the solutions and deliver digital workplace related programmes. Candidates must be able to consult on and implement technical solutions which fit in an optimal way into the processes and the existing system landscape of our clients.

This requires strong communication skills with a large variety of audiences as well as technical expertise to propose and implement sustainable and future oriented architectures using the latest developments in the SaaS market.

Detailed knowledge about the current market and relevant trends for cloud based SaaS and on-premise solutions for workplace, collaboration and team interaction is mandatory. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate experience and skills from working upon solutions that have a focus on collaboration and workplace efficiency. As the related support systems and software tools move more and more towards externally hosted and cloud based solutions candidates must have a strong focus on Microsoft Office 365 with all the related tools and other SaaS offerings in the market to drive communication and teamwork within our client’s organizations.

These are key roles in the DTU practice and internally, there will be strong links to the Digital Transformation Consulting and to our Systems Integration Business Line to cover the complete customer lifecycle around the relevant workplace topics. All roles are technical in nature but require a strong bias for operating in a client-facing environment, and the ability to operate across pre-sales, sales and delivery of Consulting (advisory) and combined Consulting & Systems Implementation/Integration projects.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate that they have the ability to describe complex technical solutions in meaningful business language that engages business stakeholders.

Therefore, these roles also require an ability to think from the client’s business problem angle, including being agnostic of technology or framing solutions around an ecosystem of products when appropriate. The roles are European-based and involve extensive travel, mostly in Europe but as required worldwide. Consequently, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to comply with all necessary visa and work permit requirements in order to successfully reside and work within Switzerland, the EU and Europe.

Job Requirements

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant areas preferred

- At least 2 years of experience in consulting activities for international clients in the areas of workplace and employee transformation solutions

- Experience, training and certification in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint, e.g. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)

- Experience with other collaboration solutions such as Jive, Unify or equivalent SaaS and on premise solutions highly desirable

- Experience of designing omni-channel workplace solutions for both field and office based workers desirable

- Internationally mobile and willing to work away from home on a regular basis

- Fluent in English and ideally another European language especially German or French
