Responsibilities:

· Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation scripts for projects of simple to high complexity
· Practices automation development efficiency, maintainability and reusability
· Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case -development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements
· Demonstrate a mature and sophisticated approach to problem solving.
· Effectively collaborate and communicate with others
· Hands-on scripting knowledge

Interfaces: To be able to deal with GBU as well as customer counterparts.

Communication skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical skills:

· Hands on experience on Core JAVA
· Experience of Selenium and Jenkins tool is MUST, Hands-on Knowledge of BDD approach Cucumber and Protractor would be an add-on.
· Experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks with industry standards.
· Strong background in coding for automation, without reliance on record and playback scripting
· Experience developing function libraries and generic scripts
· Proficient at decomposing requirements and developing test automation for projects of simple to high complexity
· Experience on – Small or Large Integration Testing and/or Regression Testing
· Confident and Effective Communication Skills
· Proficient in Testing and Defect Lifecycle
· Knowledge of any other automation tool e.g. selenium will be an add on

Working Experience: 3-5 YRS IN software test automation

Soft skills: Pro-activeness, flexibility and excellent grasping is very important.
