What are we looking for?

We are looking for an exceptional, passionate, highly motivated, pro-active and structured team player, result and quality-oriented person, who could join our Application Technical Management (ATM) team, located in Timisoara.

 

 Key accountabilities:

Provide 2nd level support to Siemens customer in a quite wide range of technologies, with the main responsibilities as follows:

• 2nd level support for web applications and services, mail, Internet access

• Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of services

• Periodically stand-by for on-call incidents;

 

 Desired profile:

 Knowledge of any the following Web technologies: Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, FTP servers.

Good understanding of networking: OSI model, TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, DNS;

Knowledge of service load balancing solutions (CISCO CSS, F5) or other load balancing  solutions know-how is a plus;

Knowledge of CISCO devices - routers, switches – (CCNA) could be a plus;

Knowledge of monitoring technologies – Nagios, Cacti, SCOM;

Basic scripting know-how – Bash, Perl or Python could be a plus;

Operating systems know-how: Linux (Red Hat, SuSE or Ubuntu);
