Introduction:
We are looking for enthusiastic graduate engineers to join ARM, and help shape the future of technology and collaborating in the development of next-generation CPU that fuel billions of devices world-wide.

ARM’s Sophia Antipolis design centre, located in one of the most beautiful parts of France, at the heart of Europe’s largest and most dynamic technology park. Surrounded by mountains and the Mediterranean Sea, this exceptional design centre has delivered leading products from ARM’s Cortex (TM) processor family.

Graduate CPU Modelling Engineer:

As Graduate CPU Modelling Engineer, your main role will consist in creating, developing and supporting CPU performance models written in C. These models are used primarily during the initial investigations of the project to help and define the micro-architecture of the product, with a specific focus on high performance and energy efficiency.

Joining an experienced, multinational development team, you will work on leading edge technologies, directly contributing to the specifications of ARM’s next generation CPUs.

Job Requirements

Are you a good fit for ARM?
You will need to be graduating in 2017, or already graduated from a University or Engineering School, in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science, although other science graduates will be considered with relevant experience

What skills and experience do I need?

Essential:


·  Excellent programming skills (C or C++)
·  A strong understanding of the fundamentals of CPU architecture
·  0-2 years' experience in electronics and computing industry
·  Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and diligence
·  Be able to work efficiently alone as well as in a team environment
·  Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English Desirable:

·  CPU or System modelling
·  CPU Performance analysis / benchmarking
·  Compilers and code generation techniques
·  Linux environment and open source tools
·  ARM assembly language
