We are looking for a Copywriter to join the Product Information team on a 9 month fixed term contract to craft original and engaging copy for a range of product categories within Home and Furniture, across the digital and print channels.

This role involves creating copy that supports the product specification, by ensuring its informative, inspiring and helpful to support customers on their shopping journey, whilst adhering to tone of voice guidelines specified by the brand team.

The main purpose of this role is to craft original and engaging copy for a range of product categories across digital and print, adhering to tone of voice guidelines specified by category/brand. Managing requests from all areas of the business and to be the sole point of contact for copy.

The Role

Write, edit and proofread engaging, informative copy for all areas of the business
Self-manage to deliver content to stakeholders on time, to a consistently high standard and to brief
Tailor content to deliver best-in-class customer experience to maximise sales, conversion and digital participation
Work collaboratively with Customer Insight and SEO teams to share knowledge and ensure all content is fully optimised
Identify opportunities to streamline content, adapting copy for use across multiple channels and work cross functionally to improve consistency
Proactively engage internal and external stakeholders to improve and update existing content based on sound research of the market and the company content strategy

The successful candidate will need

Proven copywriting experience support by a portfolio
Ability to adapt writing for different audiences/channels
Ability to make decisions at pace and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Deliver projects on time, to a consistently high standard
Good networking and communication skills
