Position Description

TN Americas is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Attendant II for our Aiken, SC office.

This position assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Records shipment data, including weight, charges. Receives and unpacks materials and supplies. Reports damages and discrepancies as required. Prepares shipping reports as required. May handle international and hazardous material shipments. Additional job responsibilities will include the following:

· Fill out truck requisitions as necessary for freight pick-up and delivery
· Maintains a working knowledge of the required paperwork and for shipping domestically and internationally.
· Prepares items for shipment using the necessary packing materials
· Contacts the appropriate mode of transportation for items to be shipped
· Loads and unloads freight as required
· Receives items using the current computer software
· Utilize shipping computer systems to ship freight including tracking and labeling.
· Contacts the owner upon receipt or delivery of the material/ freight
· Utilizes fork lifts, pallet jacks or other mechanical means to load and unload freight
· Will work under the direction of current work area procedures
· Play an active role in creating a safe and healthy workplace and comply with all applicable safety and health rules
· Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support field activities
· Responsible for the documentation and billing of inventory items to the correct project
· Responsible for the stocking and inventory of supplies to support field activities.

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position:
·  Comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus 2-4 years of experience with shipping, receiving and dry fuel storage campaign preparations
·  Knowledgeable of concepts, practices, and procedures within a related field.
·  Possess a valid driver's license
·  Lift up to 25 lbs
·  Be familiar with the company's safety and health policy
·  Able to acquire nuclear clearance
·  Superb written and verbal communication skills.
·  Proficiency with PC-based applications such as MS Office.
·  Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management.
·  Ability to change priorities quickly, confront issues directly and work well as part of a team.

The fol lowing requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position.

·  Direct experience with NUHOMS® technology.
·  Prior field engineering work experience.
