POSITION DESCRIPTION


Reporting to the Supervisor, HR, this position is responsible for the following duties:

Responsibilities include:
• Leveraging an in-house system, performs accurate and timely payroll functions including but not limited to the following:
· Biweekly payroll for 200+ hourly paid employees and off cycle pay as required
· Administering payroll and benefits processes in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement
· Assist and provide relief for the Payroll Administrator of monthly payroll for the 280+ salaried employees
· Review and ensure accuracy of payroll related ledger postings
· Reconcile Benefit (Health & Insurance) GL accounts
· Manage accuracy of time entry and executing relevant reports
· Prepare and file Records Of Employment within required deadlines

• Act as a business partner to internal, external and government customers to meet business and regulatory requirements including, but not limited to; reports, surveys, audits and all other relevant general inquiries that may arise
• Spearhead and implement special projects to facilitate continual development and compliance of payroll and payroll related business functions
• Effectively communicate information and requirements to ensure all functions of the company are working together to ensure effective, accurate and legally compliant payroll processes
• Complies with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Desired profile

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
·  Post-secondary education related to Payroll Administration, Accounting, or Business Administration
·  3-5 years' experience in payroll administration, with experience in full-cycle payroll administration
·  Must possess PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) Certification
·  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
·  Ability to multitask, handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
·  High computer literacy with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. SAP experience is an asset
·  Willingness to embrace continuous learning
