Job Description:

Orano Federal Services LLC, a subsidiary of Orano USA, is seeking a Transportation Analyst II-IV for our office in Idaho Falls, ID.

Responsibilities and duties include:
· Researches and analyzes freight costs and classifications, delivery methods and schedules to minimize delivery cost and maximize customer satisfactions.
· Classification of goods, labelling, packaging and security requirements for shipments.
· Coordinates or assist with coordination of loading and unloading operations.
· Coordinates with customers, legal counsel, carriers and federal agencies to determine applicable government regulation and commercial shipment requirements; assists in obtaining required licenses and documentation.
· Monitors service levels to ensure performance meets established standards.
· Promotes safety to ensure compliance with all regulatory agency requirements.
· Evaluates and designs transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency.
· Reviews and assesses the classification of goods, labeling, packaging and security requirements for shipments.
· Provide job specific DOT and Federal Motor Carrier training to BEA employees.
· At a Transport Analysts IV level, may lead and direct the work of others.

Qualifications :

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position.
·  Transport Analyst II: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline, or comparable experience in lieu of degree, PLUS an additional minimum 2-4 years of closely related work experience for this level.
·  Transport Analyst III: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline, or comparable experience in lieu of degree, PLUS an additional minimum 5-7 years of closely related work experience for this level.
·  Transport Analyst IV: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline, or comparable experience in lieu of degree, PLUS an additional minimum 8+ years of closely related work experience for this level.
The following requirements are desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position:
·  Experience in coordinating the shipment of nuclear materials including knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within the dangerous goods transportation industry (i.e., 49 CFR, IMDG, etc.).
·  Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; an ability to work effectively with staff, vendors and customers.
·  Good verbal and written communication skills; an ability to work effectively with staff, vendors and customers.
·  PC-based application skills.
·  Basic problem identification and resolution skills.
·  Ability to develop internal and external relationships, conducts vendor research, and negotiates with customers.

For Transport Analyst II and above (in addition to skills above):

·  Experience in coordinating the shipment of nuclear materials including knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures within the dangerous goods transportation industry (i.e., 49 CFR, IMDG, etc.).
·  Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; an ability to work effectively with staff, vendors and customers.

For Transport Analyst III and above (in addition to skills above):

·  Demonstrated problem identification and resolution skills.
·  Demonstrated relationship building, vendor research and negotiation skills.

TRAVEL

Sporadic (10%) domestic travel.
