- Water cooling/ Quenching is one of the more complex steps in heat treat process. Poor quench induces distortion, product to products variations and uneven properties
- The objective of this study is to evaluate some selected Academic and free software for water cooling simulations

The main tasks : - Literature review of numerical method in quenching process - Handling of the set of selected softwares - Modelling of academic water jet impingement cases - Modelling of industrial unit
