As a global player and buyer of goods and services, European Procurement Organization leverages technical excellence to develop best TCO solutions to secure the ArcelorMittal's supply chain, while providing efficient and reliable services to internal customers commonly called "Users". EPO negotiates the purchases contracts of products and services for the group mills worldwide, designing and implementing relevant strategies to anticipate market evolutions and establish transformation programs. The EPO operational scope is also either global or regional depending on the category of purchased products and services. Within the European Procurement Organization, working in project mode, in an international and multicultural environment, the Buyer is responsible of the sourcing of Maintenance & Repairs . The Buyer is mainly in charge of negotiation of contracts and prices of Maintenance & Repairs used in the Local (Hub) perimeter. The Buyer is accountable for fulfilling negotiation policy, validation rules, and management of related documentation. The Buyer also initiates and supports further value creation within its perimeter of responsibility: proposition of supplier and alternative good descriptions, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) initiatives and actions of the suppliers and of the plants. He/She is expected to drive his/her purchasing projects from the beginning till its end. Mission and Responsibilities To ensure added value by applying purchasing strategies and to deploy strategic levers (Sourcing Strategy). To prospect, manage, assess the potential panel of suppliers (Vendor Assessment). To negotiate and launch Spot Orders (eRFQ, SAP). To work closely with Users in order to collect and consolidate plant needs (Contract design). To work with Users on TCO approach. To plan, develop and negotiate regional or local contracts (Contract Design). To work jointly with other Buyers in the Hubs - no travel constraints.
