Job Description
Responsible for the automation prototype design and standardization on conveyors , MHE projects
Responsible for the design and improvement on the existing FC MHE's (including Conveyor，Lifts and motorised equipment etc.)
Responsible for the research on new technology for the IN FC/SC/DS
Get involved in the new FC/SC/DS Material flow engg and layout design
Evaluate alternative solutions, best practices and benchmarks in the industry
Preparation of RFI/RFQ/ sizing SOW related to MHE’s
Knowledge of geared drives, Pneumatics, Belts, power requirement analysis
Knowledgeable in conveyor/auto equipment application engg ,specifications and PLC control system.
Good experience in conceptual Engg, layout design, Application engg knowledge
MHE vendor and product development. Techno-commercial discussions and assisting procurement and project team for timely completion of SLA’s
Vendor Pre-qualification, shortlisting and developing considering long terms goals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Application skill of AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Pro/E for 3D and animation.
2.Conveyor industry application engg knowledge
3. Knowledge of value engineering and cost sensitive on the new design.
4. Good English (oral & written) to communicate with global software/hardware teams.
5. In depth knowledge of automation control system logic, mechanism and protocol; software interface and business logic between control system and management system

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Automation/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering related degree.
2. 10-15 years experience in Traditional Retail, E-Commerce, Logistics or Express industry related MHS development or manufacturing.
3. Knowledgeable in conveyor/auto equipment specifications and PLC control system.
4. Good experience in layout design.
5. Open communication and strong negotiation skill.
6. Strong application skills of AutoCAD include 2D and 3D.
7. Good working knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
8. Understanding of software system interaction with hardware equipment.
9. Good project management skill on cost saving projects.
10. Good understanding of safety compliance requirements of equipment design.
