We are seeking a passionate, goal-oriented and highly entrepreneurial Vendor Manager to join our team! As a Vendor Manager, you will lead in building relationships with vendors, adding selection, overseeing vendor negotiations, planning marketing promotions and driving increased product availability through operational improvements. You will manage both a high growth category as well as cross functional initiatives.

The candidate should have experience in analyzing new business opportunities, building strong relationships, driving significant top and bottom line results, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also possess strong analytical acumen and be comfortable drawing metric-based conclusions by managing an extensive amount of data. The successful candidate has superb business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations. Enthusiasm for fabric and the craft industry is a plus.

Position Responsibilities:
· Manage a P&L and vendor relationships, including but not limited to: planning and forecasting, securing marketing funds, identifying new brand and business opportunities, negotiating the best costs, growing market segment share and margin
· Partner with vendors and internal partners to deliver against revenue, margin, pricing, selection, and operational excellence goals
· Leverage internal data and external trends to create a cohesive category strategy
· Recognize and recommend opportunities to improve the customer shopping experience

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree
· 2-4 years of experience in retail, operations, or business management/consulting with a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-moving environment
· Impeccable communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook
