Job description

This role will provide Level 3/Subject Matter Expert Steady State support for IBM's BaaS managed backup customers. This position leads the technical resolution of customer and IBM backup infrastructure problems after transition to steady state. This is done through knowledge of backup platforms, storage devices and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. The position involves taking a leadership role with customer teams and internal teams to resolve problems, maintain managed backup operations and, when necessary, to return systems to operational status. The focus of this role is for a specific dedicated customer in the financial sector and Level 3 support skills with Avamar, TSM/Spectrum Protect and Data Domain are needed. The position requires the ability to develop solutions to stabilize customer environments. The position needs basic know-how of local area network components to support problem resolutions. The job also involves leading communication between technical teams, customer and internal organization to fulfill customer needs and accomplish customer satisfaction.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
