DESCRIPTION

The Kindle Content team is seeking a talented Recruiting Manager to support hiring across North America. This is a great opportunity to join a growing recruiting organization in an entrepreneurial environment that has the support and resources that a large company provides, all while working with a collaborative business that is passionate about the talent acquisition process. This role requires hands-on partnership with the business to lead effective candidate sourcing, assessment, closing approaches and will partner closely with both the Business and other HR and recruiting leaders to set and drive strategy, goals, process, and Sr. Engineering hiring metrics for all of Kindle Content while leading and managing top recruiters (Tech/Non-Tech).
This person will act as a critical partner to the business will be at the helm executing on recruiting strategies and will continuously earn trust with leaders at all levels, and partner effectively cross-functionally with HRBPs, Finance Partners, Compensation, and other business partners. This person will be the go to person to partner on guidance on all things related to candidate generation, engagement assessment and closing for Kindle Content. The ideal candidate will have experience working with active, passive technical market and enjoy building a strong relationship along with leading and managing a team.

The person in the role will:
· Drive sourcing capability & capacity across a geographically dispersed team within North America to proactively build diverse candidate pools while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite the recruitment Kindle Content.
· Work closely with business leaders to influence and deliver quality assessment and high touch candidate experience through all aspects of the recruitment funnel.
· Inform global teams on sourcing best practices around delivering the right results for the business to achieve their talent demand goals each year.
· Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to determine future talent needs and set and drive enabling sourcing strategies; this requires a deep understanding through extensive market research of the channels (both domestic US and internationally) where we can find the best, diverse talent who fit our technical and cultural demands.
· Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing staff in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
· Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
· Develop and execute to plans to identify and drive productivity improvements that enable the team to deliver to hiring goals without having to scale deployed resources at a rate faster than the business is growing.
· Lead and/or participate in cross-business/cross-company special projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
· Possess strong analytical skills with ability to create and develop measures for operational efficiency.
· Drive consistent review of recruiting metrics and make data driven decisions which move the organization toward further efficiency.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in an applicable discipline such as Business or Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
· 8+ years of prior direct recruitment experience and 3+ yrs of experience in managing high performing team of technology recruiters in a fast paced global organization.
· 7+ years of experience in a recruiting field, ideally with specific experience in hiring tech Engineering talent
· Experience building, coaching and managing a recruiting team.
· Experience working with recruiting tools and systems, including resume databases, internet sourcing tools, and spreadsheets
· Strong client focus and commitment to continuous improvement; Passion and acumen for client’s business
· Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, must pursue conscious cost-containment efforts in recruiting, outstanding communication skills, organizational and negotiation skills.
· Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, and interview process management
· Self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
· Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as a team leader and member
· Possess strong analytic skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
· Strong experience in drafting competitive offers and closing candidates effectively.
