We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to drive Amazon's Restricted Products technology investments and initiatives. You will work cross-functionally with legal and program stakeholders to understand and implement regulatory requirements. You will also work closely with the technical teams to ensure the requirements are implemented efficiently and appropriately. You should be able to operate successfully both strategically and tactically, and have a strong Bias for action and Ownership.

This space has a high degree of ambiguity; you must enjoy operating in this space and solve for problems that are novel and haven't been solved before. You should be able to demonstrate a strong sense of judgment (Right a Lot), and an aptitude to relentlessly Invent and Simplify new and existing solutions.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to –
· Designing the product roadmap for future global rollouts;
· Improving program processes and operations by leveraging technology solutions
· Translating legal and business requirements into technical and product specifications, and serving as a primary escalation and contact point;
· Gathering requirements from appropriate business owners, aligning tech functionality among the core stakeholders, prioritizing tech features, and writing clear and detailed functional specifications/business requirements to drive technical scoping as needed.

Being able to work independently and with primary stakeholders to solve complex medium and large scale projects is a core requirement to being successful in this role.

This role requires strong attention to detail, solid work ethic and drive, the ability to manage large and complex problems, the ability to recommend solutions to various problems and excellent communication skills.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering or similar graduate degree such as a law degree
· 5+ years of Product Management experience
·2+ years understanding how to troubleshoot and describe complex technical processes and issues to non-technical colleagues
· Excellent writing skills - ability to propose complex solutions and explanations in writing;
· Demonstrated experience being able to problem solve complex issues via a multitude of cross functional problems
· 1 -2 years experience working with and presenting to business leadership on escalations and problem solving;
· 1 year experience working with SQL
