Lab126 began in 2004 as a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc., originally creating the best-selling Kindle family of products. Since then, we have produced groundbreaking devices like Fire tablets, Fire TV and Amazon Echo. What will you help us create?

The Role:
Amazon Lab126 is seeking to hire a talented and motivated engineer to lead a team responsible for concept assembly, test and rework of Amazon branded CE products including Amazon Echo (Alexa), Fire TV , Fire tablet and Kindle Readers. You will work closely with HW/SW engineering leaders to establish best in class infrastructure for concepting, test automation, debug, competitor benchmarking and lab management

This role is ideally suited for a HW, SW or test engineer looking to take the next step in their career by applying your hands on knowledge of product development processes, test frameworks and lab equipment

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
· 8 + years of system level mechanical, electrical, firmware development experience
· Knowledge of rapid prototyping and automation technology and best practices
· Solid written, and oral communications skills
· Solid analytical and project management skills
· 3 years' experience in leading teams
