DESCRIPTION

MULTIPLE POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Partner with Amazon Professional Services development partners and clients to assist in driving technical engagements, projects and architecture involving the design, development and implementation of cloud-based/web services platforms with massive scale, resiliency and maintainability. Consult and provide analytical insight on product/systems improvement and development based on scalability, performance, availability and cost and assist in providing training sessions for customers using AWS products and for customers considering AWS products. Collaborate with customer and partner teams on a variety of engagements involving the implementation of client workloads onto Amazon architecture and/or the design and deployment of customer solutions and environments for HPC, batch and real-time data processing; provide strategy regarding business lines, products, and technical challenges to map the intersection of partner needs and priorities. Utilize customer facing skills and technical background in order to represent the company within our customer's environment and drive discussions with technical leaders that enable them to easily interact and give guidance to software developers and architects. Approx. 30% domestic travel required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or as a Technical Consultant, Technical Program Manager, or related role.

Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Technical Consultant, Technical Program Manager, or related role
