The Alexa Skills Kit team is looking for a Solutions Architect that's self-directed, creative, inventive and deeply technical to lead a growing worldwide developer community in creating the next generation of customer experiences on Alexa. This role will be on the forefront of a new technology - in an area that represents an evolution in how people interact with services and devices.

The successful candidate will have a passion for new products, technology services and an enthusiasm for our mission to win the hearts and minds of developers worldwide. Ideally, you're someone who can write code with the best of them, but you also want to help guide and teach others how to build innovative voice experiences and solutions.

You have immediate credibility with technologists and developers at all levels, from students to CIOs. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting strategic opportunities to do so.

Responsibilities:
· Evangelize best practices for building voice experiences
· Lead and foster the developer community
· Actively identify opportunities to deliver experiences that demonstrate what is possible with Alexa Skills
· Developing unique, compelling and exciting presentations and demonstrations of new Amazon technologies
· Create thought leadership and world class knowledge capital, such as white-papers, blogs, code samples and development resources that can be used by other developers
· Build reference architectures, frameworks and tool kits to drive scale of adoption
· Identify key technical opportunities and challenges and work with cross-functional product teams to address the challenges and build new features

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ML/AI, Engineering or related technical discipline
· 5+ Years of Experience with Javascript, Python, or Java
