Job Overview
Amazon Robotics, Robotic Operation Management “ROM” development organization provides comprehensive Robotic management applications, as well as generic services and software development kits (SDKs), to simplify the setup, management, and analysis of Amazon fulfillment networks. We achieve this by enabling the doers, our software engineers and the people who manage and maintain the fulfillment business. We encourage Amazon development groups to integrate with our ROM suite through open and extensible APIs and SDKs.

We are seeking a software engineer with experience in the design, development, and deployment of complex, scalable software running in a highly distributed environment. The candidate must have a solid foundation in full stack development, possesses strong communication and technical leadership skills, and enjoys problem solving both independently and in team settings. This individual must have prior experience contributing to and successfully launching software that improves a major portion of a product or application.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· You have a Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or equivalent
· 2+ years hands on experience designing and implementing highly scalable and large enterprise software solutions in Java
· You have developed and demonstrated expertise with design patterns, core Java technology, Java concurrency and threading
· You are skilled at building intuitive user interfaces
· Strong knowledge of Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS
· You are current with modern web application UI frameworks and toolkits
· You are a test-driven developer who focuses on writing high quality software including unit, integration, and UI tests where applicable
· You have experience with service-oriented architecture and Amazon Web Service storage technologies.
· You have experience driving quality in technical design and implementation
· Your design and implementation decisions set an example for others. You provide insightful code reviews and take ownership of outcome
· You are willing and able to perform devOps which includes managing deployments, monitoring and supporting applications and services
· You have effective verbal and written communication skill
