Financial Ledger and Applications team at Amazon is responsible for building and operating the set of services that process all of Amazon's financial transaction data. Your work will directly impact the way financial data is consumed and processed for Amazon and all of its lines of business, including Retail, Marketplace, Digital and AWS.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to support expansion of various Amazon businesses and continue to enhance and build a new platform solution that handles financially relevant information from various internal businesses. You will manage team which builds and operates configuration driven processing and authoring experience that meets Amazon's varying needs across the globe. With this team, you will have the best-of-both-worlds, a startup atmosphere combined with the resources of a large company and will have the opportunity to gain an end-to-end understanding of how the business works, from a financial transaction perspective.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BS Computer Science or equivalent
8+ years experience planning, designing, developing and delivering software
2+ years experience as a Software Development Manager
3+ years experience developing software using Java or C++
Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture
